LEBANON: Hundreds of refugees fleeing Israel's bombardment in the south, are evacuated to Sidon

More families from the South were fleeing their towns and villages on Friday, as Israel continued with its offensive against the area. Families from Tyre and neighbouring areas, gathered in the city centre to board five buses which were headed to Sidon, further north. "The situation is bad. There are missiles falling on us. We have not had water in twenty days," said an elderly woman. More than 750,000 families have been displaced so far from the fighting which has killed up to 600 in Lebanon and Fifty-one in Israel.
