Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Lefty Grove and Bill Dickey have all autographed Ward's baseball. One day Beaver and Larry decide to have a catch with it, but it accidentally gets run over by a truck. The boys get a new ball and try to forge the signatures, but they get in a lot of trouble when Ward finds out.
