Kuala Lumpur, moderní metropole bohaté Malajsie leží zhruba v polovině západního pobřeží Malajského poloostrova, na soutoku řek Klang a Gombek. Hlavním městem se Kuala Lumpur stalo o 39 let později a vyrostlo v obrovskou metropoli v dnešním uspěchaném a kosmopolitním stylu. ------- (English version) ------- Kuala Lumpur, modern metropolis of rich Malaysia is situated proximately in the middle of the west coast of the Malaysian peninsula, at the junction of rivers Klang and Gombek. The youngest capital city in the south-east Asia was established by a group of Chinese tin prospectors in 1857. Kuala Lumpur became the capital city 39 years later and it grew into megalopolis in todays fast and cosmopolitan style. The city has been coming through fast dynamic development and there are new and new skyscrapers and the latest up-to-date infrastructure being built. The city centre itself is a part called Golden Triangle, the main shopping and amusement part of the city where there are huge luxurious shopping centres, expensive hotels and exclusive restaurants. The dominating feature where all tourists are aiming is Petronas Twin Towers, the pride and symbol of Kuala Lumpur.
