Graphics for The Big Movie (TV-40's 8-10 prime-time movie, which existed until the Fox network's shows took over the slot) in the middle of the usually long commercial breaks- there would usually be only about 4 commercial breaks during a movie, but they'd also be a lot longer to make up for it. Voiceover announces the first movie coming later on "Night Comfort Theater", their all-night movie showcase which also no longer exists- they now show sitcom reruns which of course can easily be replaced with infomercials whenever somebody wants to pay to put one on. This guy was the main announcer at TV-40, I only heard him identify himself on-air one time and remember his first name is Jerry but forget his last name. Don't know what he's up to now. Following this is a promo for "The Birds" the following week on the Summer Film Festival- this was a yearly tradition where they would run classic movies in the prime-time slot Monday thru Friday for the entire summer. I saw a lot of the classics (King Kong and Singin' In The Rain to name just two) for the first time this way, sadly 1986 would be TV40's last Summer Film Festival.
