Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has taken time out from her hectic schedule to draw attention to the problem of domestic violence.Kidman joined watch maker Omega in Geneva to lend her support to UNIFEM, the United Nations Development Fund For Women in the Swiss capital.The move comes after the actress, who is also a UN Goodwill Ambassador, recently visited shelters for victims of domestic violence in Kosovo.Kidman said that the issue is not confined to just one country.She added: "This is a worldwide problem and something I'm becoming more and more educated in."It's very disturbing and very upsetting and at the same time you say, 'Well what I can do to help these women and these families?'"The visit comes as new figures reportedly show that Nicole is the highest paid actress in Hollywood.© Independent Television News Limited 2006.
