Khazei: "Casinos are terrible" for Massachusetts

(NECN) - Alan Khazei is one of four candidates vying for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate seat from Massachusetts. Khazei is challenging the other Democrats to say "no" to casinos. On Monday, Khazei urged the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce to abandon its planned support for casino gambling in Massachusetts. The City-Year co-founder says, "casinos are terrible" for Massachusetts, and instead the state should focus on bringing in high paying jobs. In the first televised debate Monday, Khazei said he would support a second stimulus plan. read more
