After missing out on a nomination for the Oscars, Brit beauty Keira Knightley has managed to bag one for the 2008 Empire Awards.Harry Potter's also leading the way, with both films having received six nominations ahead of next month's ceremony.Billed as an antidote to the Oscars and the Baftas, Zodiac, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, The Bourne Ultimatum, and The Assassination of Jesse James will battle it out for Best Film.Atonement is shortlisted for Best British Film, Best Actress for Knightley, Best Actor for James McAvoy, Best Director for Joe Wright, Best Newcomer for Saoirse Ronan, and Best Soundtrack.Helen O'Hara from Empire thinks Knightley is a very deserving contender.She said: "This is really the film that shows she's a proper actress - not just the star from the Pirate movies.
