Kathleen Turner to quit US

Romancing the Stone star Kathleen Turner has vowed to quit the United States for a life in Europe. She is currently starring in the Edward Albee play Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf at London's Apollo theatre. The Peggy Sue Got Married actor says that the US culture is 'less respectful of age and experience' and she looks forward to feeling at home this side of the Atlantic. The 51-year-old has had a varied career in film and TV but in recent years has concentrated in stage work.
