Katherine Jenkins launches 2006 Poppy Appeal

Opera singer, Katherine Jenkins, wasn't in Covent Garden to sing, instead she was helping launch the 2006 Poppy Appeal. She was wearing a dress made from two and a half thousand of the poppies. More than thirty six million of them will be made at the Poppy Factory in Richmond where more than seventy percent of the workers are disabled or suffering from chronic illness.
