As Elliott looks for way to get supermodel Carmen Electra to agree to a date, Nina worries about being turned down by a co-op's board of directors. Although she has little interest in Nina's problems, Maya does worry about her father's annoying habit of using endearing nicknames for her at the office. Asking him to stop, she makes it clear she doesn't want Jack to show any favoritism at the office. Meanwhile, after having an electric opener installed on his office door, Jack reveals that he is taking his wife to see King Lear. And while Maya makes clear her love for Shakespeare, everyone else can't go far enough to denounce him. When their ill daughter makes it impossible for Jack and his wife to attend the play, news that it's in London and includes a private jet and first-class hotel accommodations suddenly makes Elliott and Nina wild about Shakespeare.
