Journey begins for Olympic flame
Oct. 30: The Olympic flame was lit in British Columbia, Canada, where it is to begin its journey to the 2012 Winter Games. About 12,000 torch bearers have been enlisted to carry it throughout the country and get it to Vancouver on time. (Nightly News)
