At the M•A•C AIDS FUND event, where Joan Rivers was presented with a $250,000 check for her charity, God's Love We Deliver, in honor of her win on last season's "Celebrity Apprentice," the comedienne talked to ET about the death of Ed McMahon . Joan told us that Ed was a "gent," as well as a "good man and a good neighbor." She says her favorite memory of the former "The Tonight Show" sidekick was from the time that she left "The Tonight Show" to host her own late-night show on FOX: "Carson put out an edict: 'No one is allowed to talk to her.' Ed McMahon would come over in a restaurant -- against the bosses orders -- and always said, 'hello,' and 'how are you?' He kept the relationship going. I thought that was classy."
