EuropeforAll.com is a new website which presents travellers to European destinations with information about the accessibility of tourist venues such as hotels, self-catering accommodation and attractions. Here, the Coordinator of Europe for All, Ivor Ambrose, describes the background to this initiative at a Conference organised in Brussels by the European Commission Directorate General for Enterprise, Tourism Unit. The audience of 250 people included European tourism organisations, destination managers, representatives of disability and seniors' groups, as well as decision-makers and European Commission officials.
