ISRAEL: Annual dog look-alike competition in Tel Aviv

If you think you and your dog show some similarities then Israel's annual dog look-alike competition may be your thing. Israeli dog owners and their beloved animals last week walked along the catwalk in an unusual contest in the city of Tel Aviv. The couples were out to show judges who most closely resembled their four-legged friend. Judges examined the combination of style and appearance of ten entries, from wrinkled to long-faced features - on both parts. The winning couple received dog food for one year. Several studies have suggested that humans tend to want pets that resemble them.
