While the credit crunch is hitting most people, Isla Fisher continues to spend in her new movie Confessions of a Shopaholic. Fisher plays a fashion-loving character who can never shop within her means. "I was never a big spender like Becky Bloomwood, I've always been more practical. But I think the lessons Rebecca Bloomwood would've learned in the film are lessons we're all learning at the moment during this economic period," Fisher said. Based on the best-selling book by Sophie Kinsella, it is the meatiest role so far for the Aussie actress and she is not taking it lightly. "It was a challenge taking on the role of this character because she's so beloved in the books and because I've never played the lead in a movie and you're much more responsible for the tone of the film," Fisher said. The film will be in UK cinemas from February 20.
