IRAN: Iranian President refuses to end nuclear programme

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has sent out a tough and provocative today, saying Iran will not give in to western pressure to end its nuclear programme. Ahmadinejad told a rally that if Iran gives in now, it will have to keep giving in. His speech was timed for maximum impact before the International Atomic Energy Agency meeting in Vienna tomorrow to hear what its inspectors found in Iran and whether it is trying to develop nuclear weapons.
