I was so excited to spend some time with him. I really missed him. As soon as we got there, we ordered our drinks. I went to grab my wallet and pay but Nick pushed my hand down. "I got it," he said and smiled, while still holding down my arm. He noticed he was and he pulled his hand back really fast. "You sure?" "Yeah, of course," he said still smiling. I let him pay, and after we got our drinks, we sat down at one of the tables. "SO, tell me EVERYTHING I missed while I was gone," Nick said. "Well, you didn't miss much. I've been hanging out at home... going to the beach... hanging out with Kalene... oh and having people call me, stalk me, and nearly mob me all the time. But nothing out of the ordinary really," I said smiling. Nick laughed. "I'm really sorry about that by the way. I wish you could've come with us on tour..." "Yeah, that would have just made people hate me more," I said laughing. "Oh, by the way, I'm supposed to ask... how's your mom doing?" "Good... she's really over worked and hardly home anymore..." I said looking out the window. My mom is never around really. I've gotten used to it but sometimes it still hurts. "Oh... I'm really sorry Ash..." he said. I looked up at him. "Its fine... I'm used to it." "Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore cause now, I'm home. And you can come over anytime you want." "So at like, 2 in the morning I can come over?" I said sarcastically. "If its important, yeah, but if its not... just come to my window," he said smiling once again. And I loved it when he did... We ended up talking for a little while longer about his tour and how insane both of our lives were. I think the best part was that he missed me being there it just made me happy. After a while, we decided to leave and go home. We linked arms and once we were outside Nick said something. "Sooo, does little miss Ashley have a boyfriend?" It made me laugh. "Nope. I can't trust anyone around here. Totally single. What about you? Arent you like... dating Miley?" "Nope. I broke up with her. Things just weren't right. So I'm single too," he said smiling. I didn't show it, but on the inside I was ecstatic. "Oh cool. Sorry about Miley though..." "Don't be. She wasn't worth it. " We arrived at my house soon enough and we walked up to my door. I turned towards him and I felt him grab my hands. "I had fun tonight," he said. "So did I..." I said. He was still holding onto my hands. "We should do this again tomorrow. Sound good?" "Sure. I'll come over when I wake up." "Sounds awesome." He said. I gave him and hug and started to walk inside. But I felt him pull me back. I looked up at him and he leaned in a kissed me on the cheek. "Bye Ash..." he said while he pulled away. I stood there in shook for about 2 seconds until my brain came back to reality. "Um... bye..." I said walking inside my house. I closed the front door and leaned against it Nick had definitely stolen my heart... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Never mind about the whole surprise thing. ha.
