Introduction to Intellectual Property (IP) by Peter Finnie, Michael Lord and Alasdair MacQuarrie of GJE

We recently visited the offices of Gill Jennings & Every (GJE), one of the largest patent and trade mark firms in the UK , to learn about Intellectual Property (IP). We sat down with Peter Finnie, recommended patent attorney in the UK Legal 500 list, and his colleagues Michael Lord and Alasdair MacQuarrie to go over the basics of IP. Our GJE hosts discuss patents, copyrights, trademarks and share a few trade secrets with us (pun intended :-). We also learn about the importance of having an intellectual property strategy and the effect it can have on a company's valuation.
