Indonesian Security Tightened

Security is tight across Indonesia after the three terrorist bombers were executed over the weekend. NTD's Bali team shows us how law enforcement officials are increasing their guard. Since the execution of the 2002 Bali bombers, the Indonesian government has stepped up security in several regions throughout Indonesia. Before their execution, the bombers reportedly said that they hoped the deaths would incite retailatory attacks in Indonesia. At bus stations, seaports, and airports, police officers are regularly seen doing terrorist inspections. In Denpasar, Bali, random inspections are being conducted at the Ubung bus terminal. Officers are checking every passengers belongings, and are asking people for ID cards. Police officers also increased their presence at Bali's airport and sea ports. Bali is a famous tourist destination for people from the U.S., Europe and Australia. It's usually these kinds of people who are targeted by terrorists. NTD News, Bali, Indonesia.
