In Memory of My Father Ingo Wolf Haaf
The video my brother made for my fathers memorial service. He was diagnosed with brain cancer May 25th. A week later they told us he had :stage 4 lung cancer,stomach cancer , bone cancer and joint cancer and cancer of the liver. It started with the lung cancer and spread. He quit smoking 7 years ago, he had smoked two packs a day for 40 years. He was given 4months to a year to live. He was the first person in his family to have cancer. His parents and grand parents lived into thier late 90's and early 100's. He survived 8 months. He died on Feb 11 2009 at the age of 63,on the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes. I prayed at his bed side for weeks for his pain and suffering to come too an end. I prayed for God to take him home and heal his body and soul. What a Grace from God that he was healed on our Lady of LourdesFeast day. ((After all she is know for her healing of the sick)). And yes I said HEALED! After all Death is really just Birth into eternal life :-) .....
