Attendees received three TC50 poker chips when they checked in and could vote for one company in the Demo Pit each day of the conference. Iamnews enables small publishers with limited resources, like bloggers, to collaborate with reporters and photographers around the world, CEO Nir Ofir told me in the Demo Pit Monday. He says the company provides an alternative to purchasing expensive licensed content. In the future, Iamnews plans to resell content to other media companies and share the revenues with the content contributors. "Today’s media brands are buying news from AP and Reuters.
