How to OpenSSH onto your Ipod Touch/2G and Iphone/3G

You will need a jailbroken device (Ipod Touch/2G, and Iphone/3G), and you will also need this file: http://rapidshare.com/files/201347183/1upl0ad_s_winscp_setup_for_OpenSSH.zip 1. Go to Cydia. 2. Go to Search. 3. Type in "OpenSSH" (without the quotations) 4. Install onto your device. 5. Go to settings, and then click Wi-Fi 6. Find your wi-fi provider, and then click an arrow right beside it. This arrow will lead you to more in-depth details about the wi-fi connection. Setting this aside, look for your IP address in the details. Write this down somewhere safe, and make sure you dont make any mistakes when writing. 7. Go onto your computer and download the following file: (link is also pasted above) http://rapidshare.com/files/201347183/1upl0ad_s_winscp_setup_for_OpenSSH.zip 8. Install the winscp setup onto your computer. 9. Run winscp onto your computer, and then follow the instructions 10. Your Host Name is your Ip Address which you wrote down in step 6. Your User name is Root, and your password is alpine. After typing in the following information, press save, and double check that your information is correct. 11. After saving onto Winscp, press login, and the program will do its best to connect to your device. As a note, make sure you have your device running so that you can see the wi-fi logo on it. (Remember, winscp will not connect automatically, it will take a couple of tries before the command screen goes "Connecting to Host"). 12. Once youve connected, you will be prompted with an onscreen file directory. This directory is extremely crucial for it contains all your files on your device. Do not do anything stupid, and delete any content, unless you know what your doing. 13. Voila, youve officially SSH'd into your device :D Remember to Rate, Comment and Suscribe. Watch the video if you do not understand EXTRAS***** If you want to change the icon of certain apps, create your own icon, and rename it to a Icon.png file. Then copy and paste your Icon.png file into the directory and rewrite it with the old icon.png. :)
