HOW TO CATCH DARKRAI - WITHOUT ACTION REPLAY - TWEAKING GLITCH

This is a complete guide from A-Z on how to get Darkrai in Diamond/Pearl. No Action Replay was used, only a regular Pearl and a DS. If you get lost in The Void, look for a Turnback Cave area and use either Dig or Escape Rope. You will be back at the Poketch Building. Some people's games freeze in the Void. I recommend that you use the Kit at least once before starting this glitch. If your screens go black as you're going up the 65,500 steps, keep going up. When you come across the next Jubilife area, as you'll be able to tell by the music, pop up the menu. Your graphics should reload, and you can continue up as usual. If you find yourself frozen in darkness when you save at Newmoon Island, you may need to restart the game. I think this happens when the menu is popped up during Fake-Shinnoh, or if the Explore Kit is accessed from the bag instead. However, I don't know why this happens exactly.
