, Lee Reynolds and many more. The Holeshot BMX & Skate Championship was put together by UK BMX Race and Freestyle Champion Andy Ruffell in 1984. The event was a forerunner to the modern X Games. BMXers and skaters from the UK and USA took part in a wild competition on ramps and flatland with the judges using the crowd noise as part of the judging process.
