Hoffman's No. 477 preserves Pads' win

The Padres used Woody Williams' pitching, Mike Cameron's booming bat and quality relief to subdue the Diamondbacks, 3-1, on Thursday night. Trevor Hoffman claimed his 41st save and No. 477 in his career, climbing to within one of all-time save leader Lee Smith.
