Hill City, Kansas Tornado - May 22, 2007

The supercell that spawned this tornado exploded over western-central Kansas after the dryline punched in from eastern Colorado. It was an impressive meso with a long-lived wall cloud. The tornado touched down a few miles southwest of Hill City, Kansas at approx. 5:20PM on May 22, 2007. I apologize about the quality! This video was shot with a point and shoot Pentax digital camera. Much better video coming this spring!
