HEALTH: Study highlights health risks of salt

A fifteen year study has shown that cutting back on salt can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by 25% and staying within the recommended daily intake of 6 grammes could prevent 35,000 deaths a year in the UK alone. It's not only the salt you sprinkle on your meal that's the problem, but the huge amounts added to food by manufacturers.
