HEALTH: Rong Cheng restaurant manager fined over hygiene offences

Shocking pictures of the state of what's been shown to be - by any standards - one of the filthiest restaurants in the West End. Inspectors found the Rong Cheng restaurant on Shaftesbury Avenue infested with mice and cockroaches - and work surfaces covered in mould. Today - its boss walked free from court - but was immediately warned he faces prosecution again. Hie Jie Siquang Wu has been fined - and even temporarily shut down - after previous spot checks revealed shocking conditions in the kitchen.
