HEALTH: Nurse wins legal battle after hospital ward closures

A nurse who quit her job at a hospital to campaign against ward closures has won her High Court legal battle. Pat Morris says she was outraged over a decision to axe twenty-six beds at Altrincham General Hospital near Manchester. The High Court's agreed Trafford Healthcare NHS Trust acted illegally by failing to consult the public properly.
