HEALTH: Lack of funding for asbestos cancer drug

Londoners who have contracted cancer due to asbestos exposure could have their treatment taken away. According to the National Institute for Clinical Excellence, the drug Alimta - the only licensed drug to treat sufferers - is too expensive. Currently Primary Care Trusts provide the medicine according to a postcode lottery. But now they could scrap the drug completely.
