HEALTH: Alzheimer's patients pescribed schizophrenia drugs could be dying early

Tens of thousands of Alzheimer's patients who are prescribed schizophrenia drugs, against health guidelines, could be dying early according to research. A study carried out by King's College in London suggests that Alzheimer's patients taking mood altering drugs are twice as likely to have an early death as those who are not prescribed the medication. Today the National Care Homes Assocation urged the Department of Health to help tackle the problem.
