Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has defended his decision to appear naked on the London stage.The 17-year-old actor is making his West End debut and has a nude scene in Equus. He says the iconic play would be rubbish if he didn't bare all.The key to serious acting, he says, is losing your inhibitions. He has been working hard at the gym ahead of first night.Fans can see Radcliffe in action at the Gielgud Theatre from Tuesday February 27.The multi-award winning actor Richard Griffiths, who recently won a 2006 Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway production of The History Boys, will star alongside Radcliffe.Griffiths plays Martin Dysart and Radcliffe stars as Alan Strang in the psychological thriller.Peter Shaffer's Equus originally opened at the National Theatre in 1973.
