Happy New Tear 2009 - Taipei 101 fireworks show

In an effort to publicize the fireworks show held at the world's tallest building, Taipei 101, to mark the entrance of a new year, the Government Information Office (GIO) commissioned cable television channel TVBS to transmit pictures of the countdown to midnight via international satellite.
