Handmade in Germany - Regent, Germany's only Maker of Custom-Tailored Suits

Far from the capitals of fashion, the last maker of custom-tailored suits in Germany is to be found in Weissenburg, northern Bavaria. The firm's chief designer is Detlev Diehm. Prices range from 1500 to 5000 euros. But the pressure from competitors in low-wage countries is mushrooming. This firm with just 100 employees survived thanks to a buyout by the Milan tailoring firm Tombolini. Report by Christian Pricelius.
