People, vehicles and concession stands can be seen around the fountain. At 667 feet, more of Grant Park is visible. Nearby Lakeshore and Columbus Drives appear at 959 feet. Sailboats on Lake Michigan enter the frame at 1,517 feet. Metra train tracks, at 2,056 feet. At 2,961 feet, buildings along Michigan Avenue are visible. The reddish CNA Building pops into view at 3,500 feet. At 4,392 feet, most of Chicago Harbor can be seen. Shedd Aquarium enters the lower-right frame at 5,874 feet. At 7,366 feet, you can start to see the Eisenhower Expressway and Chicago River. The North Loop appears at 9,229 feet. The entire Loop can be seen at 9,519 feet, along with a runway at Meigs Field, south of Adler Planetarium. At 12,698 feet, Navy Pier (upper right) is completely in frame.
