Swedish golf player Annika Sorenstam has dominated women's golf for more than a decade, winning eight Player of the Year awards on the LPGA Tour after starting on the circuit in 1994 . The 37 year old announced plans to retire at the end of the year at a news conference in New Jersey, USA.
