Globe's largest union heads back to bargaining table

(NECN) - The Boston Globe and its largest union head back to the bargaining table Monday. The parent company, The New York Times, says it needs $10-million from the Newspaper Guild. Management imposed a 23% pay cut earlier this month after the guild rejected a contract proposal. The two sides met for two marathon negotiating sessions last week. And the guild filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board after the Globe imposed the wage cut.
