Gaynor skates to victory

Coronation Street star Gaynor Faye has triumphed at the climax of Dancing On Ice. Gaynor and her partner Chris dazzled viewers with their interpretation of Torvill and Dean's legendary Bolero routine during a skate-off with former Hollyoaks actor Stefan Booth and his partner Kristina. As she lifted her trophy aloft, Gaynor said: 'I feel fantastic. I'm over the moon.' When asked how she felt to have taken part in the eight week ITV series, she said: 'I've had the time of my life.' Earlier in the show, the 1984 Winter Olympics gold-winning duo, Torvill and Dean, expertly showed how the Bolero routine was done when they donned their skates and purple outfits to reprise their trademark dance.
