French election a close call

Voters in France head to the polls on Sunday to choose between Socialist candidate, François Hollande, and the centre-right incumbent, Nicolas Sarkozy for their next president. Most expectations are for a Socialist victory but Ewen Stewart, equity strategist at Investec, tells Long View columnist John Authers, that while odds on Mr Sarkozy are long, he shouldn’t be written off just yet.
