
(NECN: St. Paul, MN) - The Minnesota Canvassing Board is finishing up its work on ballot challenges today, but they're still a long way from knowing who will win a seat in the Senate. It's likely the winner won't be known when the new Congress convenes January sixth. The Canvassing Board convened at 9:00 this morning to award the last of the challenged ballots. Democrat Al Franken entered the day with a slim lead over incumbent Republican Norm Coleman. read more
