New Zealand train before their game against Portugal on Saturday (September 15). After a session of golfing to celebrate their crushing victory against Italy, the All Blacks were back on the rugby pitch for a training session on Monday (September 10) in sunny Marseille. Fans watched them go through various lifting and running exercises that demonstrated the sure-footedness of the three quarters and the power of the forwards in the team. Scrum-half Andy Ellis said that the players were "hungry for rugby" and still excited by the prospect of taking on the world's best teams in the tournament. Newspapers have made much of the imbalance of the clash between Portugal and New Zealand. The Portuguese "Wolves" are a part-time team, and these amateurs must try to limit the scoring by the All Blacks. The Portuguese were beaten 56-10 by Scotland in their opening match but played courageously. All Black players Josevata Rokocoko, Chris Masoe and Aaron Mauger said that they would prepare for the match as they did for Italy, or indeed any team in the tournament.
