Communication is one of the keys to success for any Formula 1 team, so the pit-to-car radio is an important tool for Panasonic Toyota Racing. This radio allows the driver to communicate with his race engineer whilst he is on track, allowing discussions over strategy, situation updates and requests for any car changes. Jarno Trulli has worked with his race engineer Gianluca Pisanello since 2006 so the pair enjoy a close relationship and have built up an in-depth understanding of how to communicate efficiently over the radio.
