Foreigners targeted in South Africa

Several people have been killed and scores injured since the violence began last Sunday (May 11) in Alexandra township outside Johannesburg. Most of the attacks have been targeted at Zimbabweans and other African immigrants. Hundreds have taken refuge in police stations and churches as the week-old unrest spread further across poor settlements.
