FOOTBALL / CRIME: Lee Hughes signs with Oldham FC after prison release

Three years ago footballer Lee Hughes was jailed after killing a father of four in a hit and run accident near Coventry. Eight days after being released from prison he has been signed as Oldham Athletics' brand new star striker. The move has left the victims of his crime appalled, but at a press conference Hughes said he was grateful for the chance to rebuild his life.
