Flip This House, "We Don't Need No Stinkin' Permit"

This first episode introduces the City of Charleston and the characters of Trademark Properties. We join their hectic, pressure filled world of home renovation, flipping properties and doing everything you can to "Get it Done!" When it comes to making deals, Richard C. Davis, owner of Trademark Properties, always has a few aces up his sleeve. Convincing the owner of a spectacular but neglected home on the water to sell him the property, Richard knows he has a killer deal on his hands. At the same time, Ginger, number two at the company, has found a property she desperately wants to renovate and convinces Richard to give her a chance. She soon discovers a multitude of problems with the house, the worst of which is termite infestation. Richard, forced to "save Ginger from herself", puts the kybosh on her plan. We'll never know whether Ginger could have pulled it off, but her determination to do her own house grows. Meanwhile, it's a test of resolve, drive and sanity for Richard as he pushes forward with the home on the water. Having settled on a great purchase price, he soon runs into problems with the neighbors and the county inspectors who come to shut him down. While Kevin and the construction crew are off drinking beers and shooting skeet, Richard watches his profit margin dwindle.
