Firsthand, "Fred Patacchia"

One of Hawaii's best up and coming surfers, Fred Patacchia, has spent 4 years trying to make it onto the World Championship Tour. Tied for 16th place in the World Qualifying Series, which puts its top 16 surfers on the WCT, Patacchia must perform his best to secure a slot on the Tour. Taking some time for some deep-sea fishing and fun with the family, Fred gets some great surf at Haleiwa and Pipe before heading to compete at Sunset, which will decide his future - be it on or off the WCT.
