Manchester United defender Wes Brown and goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar will both miss the Champions League game against Celtic. Brown has missed the last two matches with an ankle injury and he did not take part in the final training session before United set off for Glasgow. Rafael Da Silva is likely to start at right-back because Gary Neville is injured. Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to rest Van Der Sar, who celebrated his 38th birthday last week. Ben Foster is expected to play in goal for United. The 25-year-old England international has only made one previous appearance for the club but has spent two seasons on loan at Watford.
