Fans try to break Thriller dance record

(NECN/KABC: Los Angeles, CA) - Close to 6,000 people turned out to try to break a Thriller dance record in downtown LA Saturday night. The LA zombies were part of a simultaneous, global Thriller dance. They were trying to break the world record for the number of people performing Michael Jackson's famous routine at the same time. A world wide conference call had performers from China to Vancouver all stepping out at the same moment. No word yet on exactly how many dancers did the Thriller moves worldwide.
