Exploring the extrasolar system

Oct. 19: Astronomers announced Monday the discovery of 32 extrasolar planets, one of which can be seen in this artist's rendering of the exoplanet surrounding its low-mass host star at a distance equal to only 1/20th of the Earth-Sun distance.
