Ryanair Hits Expedia With Legal Shillelagh www.EmploymentCrossing.com Web-based travel agency Expedia and Irish airline Ryanair are in a dispute, with the airline claiming Expedia hasn’t honored the payment terms of a deal. Ryanair says that a deal signed last year gave the Bellevue, Washington-based web site exclusive rights to sell hotel accommodations on the airline’s website. The deal went well in the early stages, Ryanair officials said, but now, “Expedia has been in breach of a number of its payment obligations in recent months.” “Regrettably, Expedia has failed to honor key obligations under this agreement, in particular its payment terms, and our attempts in recent months to get Expedia to resolve these breaches, have failed so we now have no alternative but to give them notice,” Ryanair said in a statement, adding that they’ve given Expedia 30 days to correct the situation. Expedia officials couldn’t be reached for comment by the Puget Sound Business Journal . For more information on jobs in your area, click here., AviationCrossing, News video
